For the past few weeks I've been transfixed by David Buchler's instagram account, and getting serious pangs of Japan nostalgia. David catches Japanese commuters at their most unguarded; at a crossroads between sleep and relaxation, focused concentration and zen. I can't stop looking.

David and his partner Koichi also run a gem of a travelogue called Japanesesong filled with poetic photography and stories from their trips around Japan and Taiwan.
